The PATRIOT Program has partnered with IdenTrust to provide identity proofing and issuance of Department of Defense (DoD) External Certificate Authority (ECA) certificates to conduct business electronically.

IdenTrust has worked with our government partners to identify the types of ECA certificates that are allowable under each agency program. Through our Certificate Selection Wizard we can help you choose the certificate you need to transact business with one of more agencies.

Under the Certificate Policies governing the issuance and use of certificates offered by IdenTrust, it is our responsibility as an Authorized Certification Authority to revoke the certificate in a case of loss or disclosure of the private key (Password) to anyone other than the subscriber.
