DOD EMALL

The DOD EMALL is...

A single entry point for DOD and Federal government customers to find and acquire off-the-shelf items, finished goods and services from the commercial marketplace and government sources. The DOD EMALL offers cross-store shopping to compare prices and other best value factors. The DOD EMALL suppliers are government approved sources and comply with Federal Acquisition Regulation requirements.

DOD EMALL became Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) enabled on 26 April 2009. PKI allows user access to a DOD EMALL account using a Common Access Card (CAC) or a DOD-approved PKI External Certificate Authority (ECA) digital certificate.

The DOD established the ECA program to support the issuance of DOD-approved certificates to industry partners and other external entities and organizations. The ECA program is designed to provide the mechanism for these entities to securely communicate with the DOD and authenticate to DOD Information Systems.

Click on the "BUY" button below for the certificate validity period that suits your needs. Your identification forms will need to be Notarized and the original form with signatures will then need to be mailed following the instructions on the application.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: You have 30 days to retrieve your certificate once your forms are signed. Failure to retrieve your certificate within the 30 day period will require that you re-apply and start again from the beginning.

ECA Medium Assurance Foreign Countries Supported:
US Citizens may apply for a digital certificate while in any country with a US Consulate. Upon completion of the online application, identity forms must be signed in the presence of a United States Consular Officer who is authorized to provide notarial services.

Citizens of Australia, Canada, New Zealand or the United Kingdom, while in any of these four countries, may apply for a digital certificate by completing the online application and retrieving the identity forms. Identity forms must be signed in the presence of a United States Consular Officer who is authorized to provide notarial services.

Citizens of other countries require that identity forms are signed in the presence of an Authorized Individual, approved by the Department of Defense. If you do not already have a DOD-approved Individual, one will need to be established before you apply.
