The application process for a digital certificate requires minimal time to accomplish.
For all certificates the following information is required:
- Name
- Former last name (if changed in the last six months)
- Home address
- Social Security Number
- Date of Birth
- Driver's license number
- E-mail address
- Work and home phone numbers
The process will follow the steps listed below:
- Determine which digital certificate you need. View Certificate Types.
- Fill out an online application form and pay for your digital certificate. View pricing info - View payment info.
- High Assurance digital certificate applicants need to send in notary form.
- Wait for approval (usually one to two business days).
- Receive a IdenTrust Welcome Kit in the mail (usually 3 to 4 business days after approval).
- Return to the website and retrieve your digital certificate.
