1. I will be renewing my roaming certificate after November 3, 2007. Will I be able to login using my current roaming client software after that time?
No. Certificates that are renewed or issued for the first time after November 3, 2007 will have a validity period of two years and will require the use of a new, upgraded client. The current roaming client software is only compatible with the one year roaming certificates issued or renewed before November 3, 2007.

8. If I share a computer with someone else and they have the new two year certificate and I have a one year certificate that doesn’t expire until well after November 3, 2007. Should we install both the old and new roaming client software on the same workstation?
No. In order to support certificates issued both before and after November 3, 2007 on the same workstation, you must install only the new client on the workstation. The new client now supports multiple users on the same workstation. However, in order for the one year certificate to work properly with the new software, it will be necessary to follow the steps in the FAQ above.
