Normally, this will indicate that your token or smartcard (SC) is not plugged in,
you are clicking on a "Slot" different than what your token/ SC is plugged into,
or your token/ SC is not being detected by your computer.
- If your token/ SC is already plugged in, you may want to try unplugging it
and plugging it back in.
- If you have multiple "Slots" listed in the CIP Utilities program, try right-clicking
on another of them, just to verify if another "slot" is where the token/ SC is being detected.
- If the first two tests did not work, try re-installing the software on your computer.
If none of the above remedies works, it would be best to identify if there is a problem
with either the token or the computer. Try the token on a different computer.
If it works there, then there is a problem with the computer that needs to be fixed.
