When you log in to the IDTool software, a copy of your certificate is immediately downloaded into the local computer. Depending on how you log out of IDTool, this certificate may be removed from the local computer.

Although it is not a security risk to leave your certificate on the computer, if you want to ensure the certificate is removed, use the "Logout and remove certificate" option in IDTool.
