NCMS (National Classification Management Society) has partnered with IdenTrust to provide identity proofing and issuance of Department of Defense (DoD) External Certificate Authority (ECA) certificates to conduct business electronically via the DISS application (formerly DMDC JPAS).
As Associate Members of NCMS, IdenTrust is pleased to offer our fellow members a discounted price for all ECA certificate purchases. These pricing discounts are reserved for NCMS members only.
Choosing Your Certificate
DISS/JPAS allows two types of certificates. All smart cards and USB devices that are supplied by IdenTrust for use with ECA certificates are FIPS 140-2 level 2 or higher devices. We also include all software and device drivers with your order.

To purchase your discounted DoD ECA certificate, simply click on the BUY NOW. Please note that hardware fees (for Smart cards and USB tokens) are not discounted or included in the following certificate pricing. You will be able to choose your hardware type during the application process.

Trusted Agent Program:
If your company has more than 10 users that need ECA certificates you may want to consider signing up for the Trusted Agent program. A Trusted Agent can perform the in person Identity Vetting. Purchase Multiple Certificates Using a Purchase Order or Credit Card:
You can purchase vouchers and distribute them to your end-users.
If your company would like to place an order for multiple certificates using a Purchase Order or a credit card please use the NCMS DoD ECA Certificate Voucher form.
Important Information
In the case where hardware is issued, ONLY THE SUBSCRIBER OF THE CERTIFICATE SHOULD HAVE EXCLUSIVE USE OF THEIR TOKEN OR SMART CARD – In all cases, THE DIGITAL CERTIFICATE IS YOUR FORM OF IDENTIFICATION, SIMILAR TO YOUR PASSPORT OR DRIVER’S LICENSE. Under the ECA Certificate Policy, it is our responsibility as an Authorized Certification Authority to revoke the certificate in a case of hardware loss or disclosure or compromise of the private key or any certificate related password to anyone other than the subscriber.
