ACES Business Representative Certificate

Obtaining an ACES Business Representative Certificate is a simple 4-Step process:

Step 1 - Application
Once you begin the online application process, you will need to provide the following information and then provide payment for the digital certificate:

IMPORTANT: During the application process, you will be required to create a Passphrase.
This Passphrase will be needed to retrieve your certificate once it is approved. Please remember or store your Passphrase in a secure place, as it cannot be retrieved once you have submitted it. It is stored
in an unreadable format, so support personnel have no access to the original text you submit.
Payment
Payment methods: Credit Card, Order Number or Voucher Number
NOTE: To pay by Order Number or Voucher Number, you must submit your Purchase Order prior to
certificate application. See instructions for more information.
Step 2 - In-Person Identification
During the application process, you will need to download the Authorization Agreement ID Form and
then follow these instructions:
1. Complete the Authorization Agreement ID Form
2. Notarize the document
3. Submit the document per the instructions
Step 3 - Authentication
Processing of the ACES Business Representative Certificate application is carried out by an IdenTrust
Registration Agent. This process consists of validating the information provided against independent data
sources and sources within your company. Once the application is approved, usually within three business
days, a Welcome Letter is mailed to the address provided. Please allow up to 5 days for the Welcome Letter
to arrive in the mail.
Step 4 - Retrieval
Once the Welcome Letter is received in the mail, follow the instructions to retrieve your ACE Business Representative Certificate.

ACES Unaffiliated Individual Certificate

Obtaining an ACES Individual Certificate is a simple 3-Step process:

Once you begin the online application process, you will need to provide the following information and then provide payment for the digital certificate:

Please note that you must complete an online application in addition to the
Business Representative Authorization Form.

Warning, to protect the identity of ACES certificate holders, only the
certificate holder should be using the digital certificate. Allowing
others to use your certificate through sharing your password, passphrase
or private key weakens the security of the system and presents a
security danger to the certificate holder. Those certificate holders
found to have shared this confidential information will be notified
that their certificates can be revoked.
